As two brothers in college, we were fueled by caffeine—but frustrated by the lack of a portable, affordable, high-quality espresso solution. Expensive café trips weren’t sustainable, and bulky home machines didn’t fit our student lifestyle.

With backgrounds in engineering and computer science, we set out to create a solution. Countless prototypes and late-night test runs later, the Monarch Micro Brewer was born—a handheld espresso machine that delivers café-quality coffee anywhere, without the high cost.
